Albany County Executive Dan McCoy says despite opening vaccines up to walk-ins and stepping up outreach efforts, they are having trouble filling vaccine clinics.

The county is now launching a mobile vaccination program with CDPHP.

The company will provide a van to bring vaccine directly into marginalized and hard-to-reach communities.

All vaccination sites are opened to anyone 16 years old and up.

In the Capital Region, 51.6% of residents received at least one dose, and another 39% are fully vaccinated.

It's the only region throughout the state with a 50% vaccination rate.

Statewide, 46% of people got the first dose, and 34% are fully vaccinated.
