Albany County sets new record for daily positive COVID-19 cases

Albany County is reporting a new record for daily positive COVID-19 cases Tuesday. 

Albany County Executive Dan McCoy reported 205 new positive cases between Monday and Tuesday. McCoy says 157 of those cases do not have a clear source of infection.

Currently, there are 2,289 people under mandatory quarantine. 

County health officials also reported 11 new hospitalizations between Monday and Tuesday. In total, there are 88 people in the hospital, and 14 of those people are in the ICU.
