Albany County ‘strongly recommending’ masks in indoor public places

Albany County is recommending people mask up again.

The county’s Department of Public Health is "strongly recommending" people wear masks in public places again, regardless of vaccination status. This includes private businesses.

On Saturday, 124 people tested positive in Albany County out of 892 tests given – a daily rate of 14.6% — and a 7-day average of 12.8%.

Residents are also encouraged to get their vaccinations and boosters.
