A former "Today's Woman" who spends her time highlighting businesses in downtown Troy through walking tours is still trying to help those businesses despite this pandemic. However, coronavirus changed all of that, putting those businesses in a bind on many levels.

NewsChannel 13 first met Amy Koren-Roth in 2018 doing what she loves with her Taste of Troy food tours. However, coronavirus changed all that, putting those businesses in a bind on many levels.

To help out, she purchased items from the businesses and offered them to the public with her Boxes of Local Love.

Mother's and Father's Day boxes have done well. Now she's highlighting products from Troy businesses owned by people of color, hoping to promote community unity.

Learn more about the boxes she's offering and the companies she's highlighting by watching the video of Elaine Houston's story.
