A spike in positive cases is prompting the Averill Park School District to go remote until after Thanksgiving.

The district has seen positive cases in both students and staff members in the past week. Another staff member at West Sand Lake Elementary School tested positive.

All students in grades K-12 will be transitioning to full remote learning starting Tuesday. The district will remain remote until Monday, November 30.
