Capital Region coronavirus infection rate higher than state average

The Capital Region's coronavirus infection rate remains higher than the state average.

New York state's infection rate is 5.7%. It's 6.9% percent in the Capital Region.

Albany County is reporting 257 new cases.

Rensselaer, Saratoga and Schenectady counties are all reporting new cases over 150.

Columbia County reported the highest infection rate at 9.0%.
