Albany County reports 11 new coronavirus cases

There are 11 new cases of coronavirus in Albany County.

Albany County Executive Dan McCoy announced the latest numbers on Friday.

He said there are currently 44 active cases, up from 42. The five-day average for new daily positives has increased from 7.8 to 8.8.

There are 559 people under mandatory quarantine – an increase of two people.

No new hospitalizations or deaths are reported. However, three people are hospitalized, including one now in the ICU.
