More than 14 million COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered in New York state. That includes 43% of people who have received one dose, and 30% who are fully vaccinated.

Gov. Andrew Cuomo said Friday just under 185,000 doses had been administered across the state in the last day, with more than 1.2 million doses administered over the past seven days.

Here in the Capital Region, over half a million people have gotten at least one dose.

There are 366,000 people fully vaccinated, with 6,800 of those doses administered in just one day.

However, the governor says there are still drastically different positivity rates in different parts of the state.

Western New York has a positivity rate of 4.29%. The Southern Tier has a positivity rate of 0.86%. In the Capital Region, it's 1.94%, and in the Mohawk Valley it’s 1.50%.

Cuomo says though vaccinations are moving along nicely, there were sadly another 45 deaths, and COVID is still something to be concerned about.
