New York's daily coronavirus infection rate continues dropping. It is at 1.01%. That's the lowest since October 10.
Of 203,852 tests recorded Thursday, 2,068 people tested positive.
There are 1,767 people hospitalized, a decrease of 85 people.
Sadly, another 25 people died.
The 7-day positivity average in the Capital Region dropped from 1.47% on Wednesday to 1.39% on Thursday.
The 7-day positivity rate in the Mohawk Valley dropped from 1.42% on Wednesday to 1.31% on Thursday.
Governor Cuomo has yet to announce a decision for New York regarding masks.
The Centers for Disease Control announced Thursday people who are fully vaccinated don't need to wear face coverings except in certain situations.
