The city of Pittsfield is back on the red zone list because COVID cases are on the rise there.

The list is for areas with a high risk for coronavirus transmission.

The city's 14-day positivity rate is at just over 5%.

Pittsfield has not been classified as a red community since January.

The city's case rate was twice that of the state average daily rate of 23 per 100,000.
