Capital Region has highest positivity of coronavirus in NY

The Capital Region currently has the highest positivity rate of coronavirus cases in New York state.

Gov. Cuomo said Thursday the positivity rate in the Capital Region rose from 0.7% on Tuesday to 1.7% on Wednesday.


The positivity rate in the Mohawk Valley rose from 0.5% on Tuesday to 0.7% on Wednesday.

The positivity rate across the state was 0.98%, marking the 34th straight day with an infection rate below 1%.

Unfortunately, seven more people died, including a person from Montgomery County.
