New York state's coronavirus positivity rate drops below 1% again

New York state’s coronavirus positivity rate has dropped below 1% again.

It comes just one day after the state saw its first 1% coronavirus positivity rate in 38 days.


Gov. Cuomo’s office says 75,087 tests were done on Tuesday. The positivity rate was 0.87%.

In the Capital Region, the positivity rate dropped from 0.8% on Monday to 0.7% on Tuesday.

In the Mohawk Valley, the positivity rate dropped from 1% on Monday to 0.3% on Tuesday.

Unfortunately, another four people died. None of them were in the Capital Region or Mohawk Valley.
