New York state’s coronavirus infection rate is at 1.3%.

The Capital Region infection rate is currently below one percent, at 0.9%. That's flat from Sunday to Monday.

The Mohawk Valley infection rate dropped from 1.2% on Sunday to 0.8% on Monday.

In the North Country, it’s even lower, with a drop from 0.4% on Sunday to 0.2% on Monday.

Cuomo continues to watch downstate clusters and says activities there are different than in upstate regions.

NewsChannel 13 has also learned Colorado has been added to the 14-day quarantine list, while Virginia and Arizona are removed.

The governor was stern at Tuesday’s press conference that wearing a mask in public when you cannot distance yourself from others is state law.

Unfortunately, another two people died Monday from the virus.
