Cuomo: NY state's coronavirus infection rate at 1.27%

Gov. Cuomo updated the latest coronavirus numbers on Thursday morning.

He says 109,000 tests were reported Wednesday. Of those, 1.27% came back positive.


There are 612 people are hospitalized.

In the Capital Region, the positivity rate stayed flat from Tuesday to Wednesday at 0.5%.

In the Mohawk Valley, the positivity rate rose from 0.3% to 0.8%

Unfortunately, another 11 people across the state died. None of them were from the Capital Region or Mohawk Valley.
