Cuomo: NY state infection rate is 1.2%

Gov. Cuomo released the latest data Thursday from another 135,000 coronavirus tests.

There are 1,628 new cases. The infection rate is 1.2%


There are 986 people hospitalized across the state, which is up 36.

In the Capital Region, the positivity rate rose from 0.8% on Tuesday to 0.9% on Wednesday.

In the Mohawk Valley, the positivity rate rose from 0.5% on Tuesday to 0.6% on Wednesday.

Unfortunately another 15 people across the state died. None of them were from the Capital Region or Mohawk Valley.
