For a second day in a row, New York state is reporting a record number of COVID tests.
More than 219,000 results were reported. Just over 8,000 were positive. That's an infection rate of 3.72% percent.
In the Capital Region, the positivity rate rose from 3.1% to 3.7%.
In the Mohawk Valley, the positivity rate rose from 3.3% to 3.6%.
Unfortunately, another 39 New Yorkers have died. That includes people in Albany, Saratoga, Schenectady, and Oneida counties.
