Cuomo: Positivity rate across NY remains at 1 percent

Governor Andrew Cuomo gave a coronavirus update by phone on Monday. He said 57,000 tests were done in New York state on Sunday.

There were 608 of them that came back positive. That's about 1%.


There are 642 people are hospitalized statewide.

Unfortunately, another 11 people died Sunday from the virus.

In the Capital Region, the positivity rate dropped from 1.2% on Saturday to 0.5% on Sunday.

In the Mohawk Valley, the positivity rate rose from 0.6% on Saturday to 1.0% on Sunday.
