Hospitalizations in New York at lowest level since March

Governor Cuomo says hospitalizations for coronavirus in New York state are at a new low.

There are currently 619 people hospitalized, the lowest since March 18.


In addition, 62,000 tests were conducted in New York Tuesday. Of those tests, 1.1% came back positive.

Unfortunately, another five people died from the virus in New York Tuesday.

In the Capital Region, the positivity rate rose from 1.2% on Monday to 1.8% on Tuesday.

In the Mohawk Valley, the positivity rate dropped from 2.0% on Monday to 1.8% on Tuesday.
