The Crandall Public Library in Glens Falls will begin curbside service next month.

The library released a statement Wednesday saying they would begin the new service on Monday, June 22.

The library says that they currently have 25,000 materials on loan. They are asking people to follow a staggered return plan to bring back materials.

Starting on June 8, external book drops will open for returns. The return schedule can be found below:

• Monday, June 8: patrons with the last name beginning with A – G

• Tuesday, June 9: H-M

• Wednesday, June 10: N-S

• Thursday, June 11: T-Z

No fines will be accrued during this time. The library says that returned items will need to quarantine for a minimum of 72 hours, and will not show up on your card until the items can be safely checked back in.

Over the course of the next few weeks, the Crandall Public Library says that it will continue to disinfect and train its staff to begin curbside pickup.
