COHOES - It's an unfortunate sign of the times.

There was a pop-up, drive-thru food pantry at the Visitors Center on Remsen Street in Cohoes Thursday, handing out basic necessities to people in need.

If there's one thing they've learned, it's that food security continues to be a problem here in the Capital Region.

It's the eighth time volunteers from Ballston Spa National Bank have organized such an event since the pandemic began.

They say another drive-thru food pantry is already planned for December.

Learn about how much the food drives have helped families in the Capital Region by watching the video of Jerry Gretzinger's story.
