GLENS FALLS - The Glens Falls School District is going fully remote in January and district leaders say an underage drinking party and sleepover played a big role in that decision.

They say so far, more than 10 positive coronavirus cases have been linked to this super-spreader event, and they expect more.

A statement posted on the district website says due to the number of students and adults now in quarantine, and based on advice from the health department, Glens Falls City School District will go fully remote for at least two weeks, beginning on Monday, January 4.
