With some local food pantries seeing increases in demand up to 250%, a new online platform called Gyvlink is working to match up corporate donors with the Food Pantries of the Capital District.

Through Gyvlink's "Harsher After the Holidays" campaign, pantries are able to create a detailed list of their immediate needs for donors. At the top of it is items necessary to getting through the pandemic like cleaning products, soap, and toilet paper. Other needed items include diapers, food storage items, and feminine hygiene products.

It is a welcome tool in their arsenal against food insecurity.
