Sixteen bars and restaurants around New York had their liquor license suspended, including one in Albany.

Investigators paid a visit to Johnnie's on Broadway at 1278 Broadway in Albany on September 18.

Investigators say there were more than a dozen patrons standing in front of the entrance, drinking and mingling without masks on.

The State Liquor Authority says the bar was also serving drinks without food, which is a state violation.

To date, 217 businesses' liquor licenses have been suspended during the pandemic.
