COHOES - It was a big day Tuesday for a U.S. Navy veteran hospitalized with the coronavirus for about two weeks.
Kevin Greene, 58, from Cohoes, walked out of the Albany Stratton VA Medical Center on his own.
He was in intensive care but never needed a ventilator.
As he left, he said he is still not 100-percent, but getting out of the hospital feels good.
On his way out, he said anyone who thinks they are experiencing any coronavirus symptoms, don't treat it as a joke. His advice is to get checked.
Hear Greene talk about the joy of leaving the hospital, by watching the video.
