New York's daily coronavirus positivity rate is 3.14%.
The 7-day average is 3.34%. That's the lowest since November 27.
Gov. Cuomo also said more than 2.5 million, or 12.8% of New Yorkers have received the first dose of vaccine, with more than 7% of New Yorkers fully vaccinated. New York providers have administered 91% of first doses
In a written update on Thursday, Gov. Cuomo said there are now 5,703 people in the hospital, a decrease of 173.
Sadly, another 89 people have died.
In the Capital Region, the 7-day positivity rate dropped from 2.02% on Tuesday to 1.95% on Wednesday.
In the Mohawk Valley, the 7-day positivity rate rose from 1.92% on Tuesday to 1.95% on Wednesday.
