Governor Cuomo says New York state's coronavirus positivity rate is starting to drop again, now that the holiday season is over.
The governor says a record of more than 324,000 tests were conducted Thursday.
Cuomo says 6.14% percent of tests came back positive.
More than 8,000 people are in the hospital.
Sadly, another, 183 people died from the virus on Thursday.
