COLONIE - Big news for area restaurants recently has been the opportunity to provide outdoor dining for customers as they wait for clearance to start offering limited indoor seating. However, what happens to restaurants that never had outdoor seating - like Delmonico's in Colonie?  They improvise with tents and so far the result is keeping them open for business.

That was the big idea at the Central Avenue restaurant. However, they wanted more than just a place for people to eat – they wanted it to feel like an extension of the restaurant.  Operations Manager Michael Donaruma thinks they nailed it – from the tablecloths, to the waitstaff, to the Italian-inspired tunes.

If you're still not ready to go out yet, they've got you covered.

Learn about some of the family-style packages they're offering, and plans for Father's Day both on-site and for takeout by watching the video of Jerry Gretzinger's story.
