ALBANY - A popular restaurant in Albany - specializing in what they call classic comfort food with Southern-American flair, had big plans before they had to close their dining room. They were about to open a second location.

That's on hold, but the Cuckoo's Nest on Western Avenue still found a unique way to branch out.

Kaytrin and Devin Ziemann own the restaurant - and have had to make some changes to the menu, format, and pricing given the impacts of the coronavirus.

The restaurant has also been laser focused on social media - promoting eye-catching and jaw dropping sandwich specials.

Learn about some specials they have coming up for the Memorial Day holiday, and how else they're connecting with the community, by watching the video of Jerry Gretzinger's story.
