Rensselaer County reports new COVID-19 case at Van Rensselaer Manor

Rensselaer County reported six new cases of the coronavirus Monday, and the new cases include a person living at Van Rensselaer Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation.

The new case is now the 11th involving someone at Van Rensselaer Manor.


The county also announced the death of an 83-year-old man from Troy who had been in the hospital. The death toll on the county now stands at 43.

In total, Rensselaer County has reported 1,054 cases.
