Visitors to some Vermont ski areas will be required to make reservations ahead of their visits this winter.

It is just one of several changes being made in an effort to limit the spread of the coronavirus. It’s happening at Stowe, Okemo, and Mount Snow.

Other changes include requiring face masks and limiting the number of people inside of restaurants. The hope is the new system will prevent crowding on mountains and ensure safety.
