UAlbany now totals 80 coronavirus cases

Coronavirus cases at UAlbany have now reached 80.

Forty of the positive cases have been recorded since September 12.


Clusters have been traced back to the athletics department and off-campus student housing, forcing the college to cancel all athletic programs.

Albany County reported 11 new coronavirus cases in their update on Wednesday.

Seven of them are traced back to UAlbany.

All 11 had close contact with positive cases.
