Saratoga County says it's ready to get residents vaccinated.
The county says it will set up as many as 18 locations for people to get shots.
The Saratoga Springs City Center will serve as a primary vaccination site in the county. As far as others, the county isn't saying.
The City Center has been an empty space for most of the last 10 months, but it could soon spring to life.
On the convention floor quieted by COVID, county personnel and others aim to put shots in arms.
It was selected because of its size, easy access and parking.
The facility was the largest and only one identified Tuesday as a county POD, or point of distribution for vaccines.
County leaders said during a news conference Tuesday that it wouldn't be prudent to name the 17 other sites they've identified.
However, they wanted to assure the public that they're ready to begin almost immediately once the vaccines start rolling in in bulk quantities.
See how the layout of everything in the convention center might be set up during the entire process by watching the video of Mark Mulholland's story.
