The winter weather is leading to widespread delays of coronavirus vaccine shipments.

The Centers for Disease Control released a statement saying the adverse weather is impacting two of the vaccine shipping hubs that multiple states rely on.

Albany County didn't receive this week's supply, so it's rescheduling Thursday's vaccine distribution at the Times Union Center.
It's tentatively rescheduled for Monday, February 22 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Health officials say they will confirm once the vaccine has been received.

It's the same story in Columbia County. The dose two vaccine pods scheduled for Thursday and Friday at Columbia-Greene Community College have been cancelled. The rescheduled date is Wednesday, February 24.

Second shots of Moderna vaccine scheduled for this Thursday through Sunday are being postponed in Rensselaer County. Second shots will be held at a clinic from Feb. 24 to March 1. The county says not to call the Health Department to reschedule. They say someone will call you instead.
