Albany man charged in shooting that paralyzed victim
An Albany man has been indicted for allegedly shooting a man back in 2024, paralyzing him.
Juhmir Arrington, 30, was involved in an argument outside the CVS at 16 New Scotland Ave. at around 6:30 p.m. on June 1, 2024.

Juhmir Arrington, 30, was involved in an argument outside the CVS at 16 New Scotland Ave. at around 6:30 p.m. on June 1, 2024. Arrington then allegedly shot the man in the chest, according to the Albany County District Attorney’s Office.
Arrington was arraigned in Albany County Court on Friday. He pleaded not guilty to charges of second-degree attempted murder and criminal possession of a weapon.
He faces up to 25 years in prison if convicted.
