Albany students job shadow National Grid workers
Forty students in the city of Albany got a hands-on experience with workers from National Grid on Wednesday.
Forty students in the city of Albany got a hands-on experience with workers from National Grid on Wednesday.
The students in grades seven through 12 were job shadowing in partnership with Junior Achievement of Northeast New York.
They got to engage in real-world activities like customer metering, accessing electrical lines and learning the uses of all the different trucks and vehicles.
The job shadowing provides valuable career exploration and development opportunities for students.
