The Cohoes Public Library kicked off its summer reading program at Van Schiack Park on Sunday.

The theme of the summer reading program this year is “Color Our World”.

There was face painting and crafts, bubbles, even a reptile show.

The goal is to get children interested in reading.

More than 150 people signed up.
