A nonprofit committed to providing opportunities for lower income people is now accepting applications for its homeownership program.
The Columbia-Greene Habitat for Humanity is accepting the applications through June 30.
The organization has two projects under construction. The first is in Valatie – a three-bedroom, two bath home.
The second is in Niverville.
That home is the inaugural build of the habitat’s Rural Starter Home Initiative, which the group aims to expand in Columbia and Greene counties into the coming months.
