More than 3,000 students took part in the ‘READ’ program for Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Capital Region in Albany.

It is a literacy-based fundraising campaign where young readers learn about the impact they can make on their communities.

The money raised will support the children and families dealing with serious childhood illnesses and injuries.

This is the 11th year of the ‘READ’ program.
