Empire State University launches first online degree program in Spanish
Empire State University recently announced the launch of SUNY’s first Spanish-language online degree program – a bachelor of business administration.
This groundbreaking online undergraduate program is taught entirely in Spanish, according to the Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce.
“Empire since its founding has been very focused on identifying not just how we can better serve the students we serve, but finding out who we are not serving, who we’re leaving behind in public education in this state,” said Empire State University President Lisa Vollendorf.
Online enrollment is now open for this 124-credit program, which will begin in the fall of 2025.
Looking ahead, Empire State University intends to offer more Spanish-language programs.
“We have faculty and staff prepared to serve the student population, and we intend to look to the future to build out more majors, to serve more people,” the college said.
