The senator says the Trump administration stopped releasing data on the spread of bird flu and has fired federal workers responsible for tracking and managing the federal response.

She’s calling on the president to make it a priority to create and deploy a vaccine to protect chickens from avian flu.

Bird flu has been found in 44 out of New York’s 62 counties, including one farm on Long Island that had 100,000 cases alone.
