Greenfield man gets 4 years in prison on drug charges

A Saratoga County man was sentenced on Wednesday to 4 years in prison on drug charges.

Jason O. Allen, 45, of Greenfield, was arrested on Aug. 1 after police found him and another person asleep in a vehicle in the town of Providence.

Allen had a narcotic drug, 500 mg or more of cocaine and a scale used to weigh drugs.

Allen pleaded guilty to two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in connection with this crime and another incident in Wilton. He received 4 years in prison on both charges to be served consecutively.
