New Marriott hotel opens in Lenox
Berkshire County’s newest hotel south of Pittsfield is expected to open in early June.
The 87-room Element Lenox Berkshires is hoping to attract both long- and short-term travelers.
Construction of the three-story Marriott project at 130 Pittsfield Road cost more than $30 million, NewsChannel 13’s media partners at The Berkshire Eagle reported.
The hotel boasts spacious, pet-friendly rooms and suites with kitchenettes.
It invites potential guests to take a ride with its Bikes to Borrow program, or go for a swim in a relaxing indoor saltwater pool.
The hotel will have a lobby pub and outdoor patio for guests, open from 5 p.m. until midnight, and a breakfast area.
The Lenox Zoning Board of Appeals approved the hotel’s special permit and site plan in December 2022.
Besides the nearly completed hotel, the developer is building 28 residential apartments in seven new three-story buildings.
