Police: Troy man showed gun during road rage incident

A Troy man is accused of displaying a gun during a road rage incident.

State Police responded to the area of 787 in Watervliet on Jan. 12. for a report of a person with a gun.

Felipe Hernandez Mercado, 54, is accused of showing the gun, which police said he legally owns.

Hernandez Mercado was arrested on Jan. 23 and charged with reckless endangerment and menacing. He turned himself in and was issued an appearance ticket.

He is due in Watervliet City Court on Feb. 4.
