Two accused of having cocaine, fentanyl in Lansingburgh

Two people are facing drug charges after a drug sweep in Lansingburgh.
Rensselaer County Sheriff’s deputies searched a residence on 123rd Street as part of an ongoing investigation into cocaine and fentanyl distribution. They found more than 100 grams of fentanyl and cocaine, as well as drug packaging materials and cash.
Rahiem P. Kyser, 44, of Albany, and Khari Williams, 21, of Brooklyn, were charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal use of drug paraphernalia. Kyser is also facing a charge of criminal possession of a weapon.
Both Kyser and Williams were arraigned in Troy City Court. Kyser was sent to Rensselaer County Jail without bail, while Williams was released on his own recognizance.
