Workforce development program gets $125K grant
An organization providing educational and workforce development opportunities for young adults has received a big grant.
An organization providing educational and workforce development opportunities for young adults has received a big grant.
State Assemblyman Phil Steck announced $125,000 for the Schenectady Social Enterprise and Training Center, known as the SEAT Center.
The money will help build a new wellness center, and improve the student kitchen.
It will also help install a security visitor management system on the Schenectady campus on State Street.
The money comes from the New York State SAM (State and Municipal Facilities) grant.
