CLAVERACK - Investigators say the death of a person found in a Claverack pond on Thursday doesn’t appear to be suspicious.
The body was found in a pond off Schroder Road.
The Columbia County Sheriff’s Department says an autopsy was done at Ellis Hospital Friday morning.
They say the person was a middle-aged woman. They aren’t releasing her name until family is notified.
