DUANESBURG - Despite the cancellation of Albany's Veterans Day parade, another local, annual parade much smaller - but big in spirit, continues.

There were masks and instead of marching relatives of students who served our country paraded by in their vehicles. However, even a pandemic could change the feeling of respect and appreciation.

The school's Veterans Day parade is usually a little bigger. It includes the high school band. However, there was no less emphasis on teaching kids why the day is so important.

Hear from both kids and veterans about what this means for them by watching the video of Jerry Gretzinger's story.
