Saratoga County teen remains optimistic as pandemic interrupts cancer research

Hannah Shell is a senior at Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake High School, who was named a semi-finalist in a science competition for her cancer research at Albany Medical College.

Her research ended when they stopped letting visitors into the hospital because of coronavirus.

Hannah was supposed to attend a science fair in California this week, but it was moved online because of the pandemic.

Despite the setbacks, she remains optimistic.
