The majority of students in kindergarten through 5th grade in Massachusetts returned to the classroom.
Massachusetts reported a record high of 1,045 new COVID cases in schools last week.
Under the state's plan, middle school students 6th through 8th grade will return to the classroom full-time by Wednesday, April 28.
There's no word yet when high schools will reopen.
