CHEBOYGAN, Mich. - Some high school seniors in Michigan have a tough decision to make this week, which prom to attend?

The school is sponsoring a prom, but it requires a COVID test the day before and masks are required.

A local church is offering a separate prom on the same night with no COVID tests and no masks required.

The school's prom will only allow seniors this year. The junior class would typically also be invited, a point made by parents organizing the alternate prom.

The school superintendent is concerned with the lack of safety precautions at the church. He says any quarantines that come out of the prom will be strictly enforced, and could affect a student's ability to attend graduation.
